The Department of World Languages and Cultures at Old Dominion University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Lecturer in Spanish, effective August 2019. Applicants should have at least a Masters Degree in Spanish or a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credits in Spanish.  Preference will be given to a candidate who specializes in second language acquisition and/or teaching methodology.  Applicants are required to possess native or near-native fluency in Spanish. The faculty member’s primary responsibilities will include teaching courses within the departmental major program, directing the language licensure program, and engaging in service at the department and university levels.
