Tenure-track position in Film & Media Studies, with expertise in New Media, broadly defined, at the rank of assistant professor. Effective August, 2019. Ph.D. required.

 

The successful candidate will offer courses in their specific area(s) of expertise, which may include, but are not limited to, the study of new media technologies, social media, remix cultures, on-line cultures, comics studies, industrial studies, and/or video game studies. The ability to teach either Intro to Film Studies, Intro to TV Studies, or Film Theory is also desirable. The standard annual teaching load is five courses. The College provides a generous sabbatical leave program and professional development support for both research and teaching.
