Responsibilities include teaching three graduate and undergraduate courses per year - possibly including a graduate research methods seminar and overseeing undergraduate independent studies.  The position also involves a significant role in advising theses for both master’s students and undergraduate honors majors. Service to the program will involve representing the Center at university occasions and committee meetings. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to interdisciplinary scholarship and excellence in teaching, and have completed the Ph.D. no earlier than 2014 and no later than August 1, 2019.
All application materials should be submitted via Interfolio through the following link: For more information about the NYU Center for European and Mediterranean Studies, please visit the website at  Candidates must submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, writing sample, three references, and a list of courses taught.  Diversity is an important part of the NYU mission.
