Visiting Assistant Professor of Marketing

Full/Part Time:
Appointment: Two-year visitor position: Fall 2018 until Spring 2020. A tenure-line search will take place in Fall 2019. Responsibilities:
-
Teach two to three undergraduate
courses in marketing per term. The faculty hired in this position
will have primary responsibility for teaching the introductory
marketing course and marketing electives per year. Ability to teach
the introductory course from an international or global perspective
is essential. The fall 2018 elective is market research. The
successful candidate's strengths will determine the other
electives. Preferred areas for the elective courses include
marketing communications, consumer behavior, market research, and
marketing strategy.
Case analysis and projects that
stimulate independent critical thinking and promote effective
written and oral communication skills and problem solving should be
important components of these classes

Ph.D. (ABD considered) in
marketing and a commitment to undergraduate teaching and liberal
arts education.
Will consider Ph.D. in appropriate
liberal arts disciplines related to marketing.
For those candidates whose
doctoral degrees are in non-business disciplines, relevant work
experience in the area of marketing and the possession of a Master
in Business Administration degree are required.
