Clinical Instructor of Social Work

The University of Tennessee Chattanooga Social Work program invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, Clinical Instructor position(s) from committed candidates who will demonstrate excellence in teaching and service.

Qualifications :

A Master's Degree in Social Work with a preference for candidates with a licensure in social work. Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum of three years' social work practice experience, specifically in the clinical setting. A strong candidate will be able to work in the areas of need within the curriculum, i.e. field courses and field supervision, practice, aging, substance abuse, policy, theory as well as across programs (BSW, MSW, including online/hybrid offerings). UTC values diversity and would expect the candidate to be well-equipped in including issues related to diversity in the field setting and in all courses taught.

The Social Work program is one of five programs within the School of Professional Studies which is situated within the College of Health, Education, and Professional Studies.
