The School of Business at Alfred University invites applications
for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Marketing beginning
Spring, 2019. Our AACSB-International Accredited programs include a
vibrant undergraduate business program which maintains a business
administration/management focus while offering majors/minors in
various business disciplines in addition to a growing MBA program.
The university values excellence in teaching and development of
students as individuals and offers opportunities for teaching and
leadership in our online and satellite instructional programs. An
active student marketing club, student-run businesses and
internships provide opportunities for active learning. Teaching
will include undergraduate and MBA courses in marketing. Research
and professional development support is available.
We are seeking a candidate who is teaching oriented with an
established or emerging record of successful research publications
who can fulfill AACSB Scholarly Academic qualifications. The
appointment requires a Ph.D in Marketing or fields related to
Integrated Marketing Communications; ABD considered with evidence
of completion within one year. Candidates with an interest in
non-traditional teaching methods (i.e., online) are especially
attractive. We may consider very experienced practitioner with a
Master's degree where their focus would be on teaching at the
undergraduate level. They would have to fulfill AACSB Scholarly
Salary will commensurate with degree and experience.
