General Description of Position
The Adjunct Instructor, Business Administration is responsible for instructing students in various academic courses in a classroom, online and/or hybrid (combination of both) setting. Teaching assignments for this position include, but are not limited to Macro Economics, Micro Economics, Personal Finance and other financial topics. The instructor implements teaching strategies, monitors, and evaluates student progress and keeps accurate student records. The instructor works with the Program Chair and other Economics teachers. There are no guarantees from term to term that a course(s) will be assigned to teach.
Classes will be during the day between 8-5 pm.
Minimum Qualifications
A Masters Degree in Economics, Finance, or related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in economics, or a combination of 18 graduate hours in finance and economics.
Two (2) years experience in the business world.
Desired Qualifications
Two (2) years teaching experience at the post-secondary level. Online teaching experience.
