General Description of Position
Under the general supervision of the Associate Dean and Program Chair, the adjunct instructor is responsible for providing instruction to students in Automotive Technology courses. The instructor implements teaching strategies, advises students, monitors and evaluate student progress and keeps accurate student records. This position is also responsible for maintaining lab equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Associates degree in Automotive or Diesel Technology.
2. Two (2) years of experience in an Automotive or Diesel field related to the area of instruction.
3. ASE Certification in Areas related to assigned courses.
4. NDE certification for K-12 systems
Desired Qualifications
1. Bachelors Degree in a STS related field.
