General Description of Position

The Adjunct Instructor, Business Administration is responsible for instructing students in various academic courses in a classroom, online and/or hybrid (combination of both) setting. Teaching assignments for this position include, but are not limited to Introduction to Business, Business Ethics, Principles of Marketing and Principles of Management. The instructor implements teaching strategies, monitors, and evaluates student progress and keeps accurate student records. The instructor works with the Dean, Associate Dean, Program Chair, and other instructors. There are no guarantees from term to term that a course(s) will be assigned to teach.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field. A minimum of 18 hours must be in business or business related topics.

Two (2) years’ experience in the business world.

Desired Qualifications

A Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field with 18 graduate hours in business courses or business related topics. Two (2) years teaching experience at the post-secondary level. Online teaching experience.
