General Description of Position
Under the general supervision of the Dean, Associate Dean and/or Program Chair Manufacturing/Transportation, the Adjunct Instructor is responsible for instructing students in various courses in a classroom/laboratory setting. Teaching assignments for this position include, but are not limited to, Commercial Carrier Driver Training. The instructor develops course objectives, implements teaching strategies, advises students, monitors and evaluates student progress and keeps accurate student records.
Minimum Qualifications
1. High school diploma or GED .
2. Minimum of two (2) years recent work experience as an over-the-road driver of a commercial tractor/trailer.
3.Must possess and maintain a valid commercial driver’s license, Class A.
