The Department of English at Knox College invites applications for a full-time, one-year Visiting Assistant Professor in 20th-Century British Literature, beginning September 1, 2018. We seek an innovative and creative teacher-scholar who will thrive in a residential, liberal arts setting. The successful candidate will be committed to teaching introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses to a diverse student body in a vibrant department of scholars and writers. The teaching load is six courses (two per trimester). Knox College is particularly interested in qualified candidates who can contribute to the diversity and inclusivity of our community through teaching, research and service.
Ph.D. in English expected at time of appointment; exceptional
ABD candidates considered. Review of applications begins
