The Department of Urology at the University of Florida College of Medicine is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Fellowship-Trained Pediatric Urologist at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level for a full-time faculty position

Background . The University of Florida (UF) Department of Urology at UF Health Shands Hospital is a tertiary referral center that serves the population of north central Florida, southern Georgia and surrounding communities. The candidate would join the Division of Pediatric Urology which has 2 full-time Pediatric Urologists, 1 full-time Adjunct Pediatric Urologist, and a full-time Pediatric APRN. The Department has an additional 18 faculty members who support general, endourology, oncology, female, male-infertility and reconstructive surgery. UF is 6th ranked public university in the nation. UF College of Medicine is one of 16 colleges within the university and these colleges provide an environment rich in cross departmental collaborations. In 2020, NIH funding at the UF College of Medicine exceeded $182M.

Job Description . We are seeking a candidate with a record of distinguished accomplishments, expertise in pediatric urologic surgery, proficiency in clinical care, and a clear commitment to student and resident education. The candidate would join a department recognized for its clinical and research excellence. The division is committed to providing comprehensive pediatric urologic care and the highest quality surgical services, including robotic surgery, for all genitourinary conditions.

Applicants must have a M.D. or equivalent degree, be licensed in or license eligible in the State of Florida, and be board certified or board eligible.
