Job Duties
• Greeting & assisting students, staff and visitors on arrival and while conducting business in the office.
• Answer and screen telephone calls in the absence of supervisor or secretarial personnel.
• Transfer telephone calls to appropriate personnel or record appropriate message.
• Receiving, sorting, preparing, distributing incoming & outgoing mail.
• Faxing, Photocopying, Scanning, Filing
• Sending emails
• Assisting with events
• Run work-related errands
• Keep office area neat and tidy
• Be productive in your work
• Report to assigned supervisor at scheduled work times
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned by supervisor
Physical Requirements
Positions in this class typically require: stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
