Position Summary:

The University of Wisconsin Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology seeks candidates for clinical faculty (non-tenure) positions specializing in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. The successful candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient care at UW Health approved locations as well as adjacent VA Hospital and outreach locations, along with clinical teaching responsibilities and active involvement in clinical teaching and scholarship, and opportunity for clinical research endeavors.

Principal Duties:

For Clinical Health Sciences (CHS) position - Provide inpatient and outpatient care at UW Health approved locations as well as adjacent VA Hospital, Meriter Hospital, and outreach locations. Participation in night and weekend call rotation. Clinical teaching responsibilities and active involvement in clinical teaching and scholarship as appropriate to appointment. Participation in research endeavors of the Division expected. Local and regional clinical responsibilities within the UW Health Digestive Health Center, and regional clinic locations. The successful candidate will also participate in professional, public, and university service.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

MD or DO, or equivalent, is required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Completion of internal medicine residency and fellowship in Gastroenterology

License or Certificate:

- Eligible for Wisconsin medical license
- Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology
