Objective

To perform the day-to-day operations as required and requested by the Director or Dean.

Essential Duties

Develop and deliver technical education training related to safety, quality, processes, industrial equipment, and maintenance.

Manage grant-related documentation and projects as assigned by Directors and/or Dean.

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Eligible for OSHA Certification to teach 10- and 30-hour safety courses within 60 days

Minimum of at least four (4) years industrial maintenance experience in safety, quality, equipment, and processes

Experience delivering technical training/education

Knowledge of computer spreadsheet and word processing and completing technical reports

Good team communication skills

Experience with time and schedule management

Valid drivers license with own transportation

Preferred Experience and Training

At least five years work experience as a full-time industrial maintenance; experience training industrial maintenance staff; experience teaching adults in a classroom setting; a recognized certification in related field

Industrial Experience in mechatronics

This is a 100% grant & contract funded position renewable pending additional grants and contracts.
Delivering Non credit industrial courses within industry. Availability to deliver courses on all 3 shifts required.
