Vacancy Number: S-00561 Position Title: Working Warhawk I - Archives and Special Collections Classification Title: Department: Library (Archives) Employment Type: Part-Time Duties and Responsibilities:

Students working in Archives & Special Collections will assist with collections work and public services for researchers and users. Collections work includes the processing of archive materials, books, and records by rehousing materials, arranging folders in order, retrieving, shifting, and shelving collection material, photocopying, and writing descriptions. Students may also assist in answering phone calls and assisting visitors, responding to reference requests, and monitoring researchers in the Archives & Special Collections dept.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must be highly responsible and pay close attention to detail. Able to respond well to feedback, communicate clearly and follow exact directions. Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs. Interest in history, literature or libraries is a plus.
