Job Summary
The Department of English at Columbus State University is seeking qualified applicants to teach ENGL 1101 and/or ENGL 1102. This is a part-time position involving one or two sections of English composition per semester.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate should have an earned Master’s degree in English with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in English. Previous teaching experience at the college level is desired.
Required Documents to Attach
Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position has been filled. Applications for part-time and full-time faculty positions must include transcripts of all academic work, and official transcripts must be presented prior to campus visit if selected for interview. Applicants must have the ability to meet Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) requirements, in particular a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline.
