Clarion University seeks applicants for the PRN Pool (Substitute Registered Nurses) at the Center for Wellness, a clinical facility. Employment is on an as-needed basis.

This position reports to the Nursing Supervisor at Center for Wellness and must be able to provide timely assessment, diagnosis and care for university students including:

•Perform client triage
•Perform systemic health assessment focusing on specific concerns
•Develop, implement and evaluate subjective and objective data to form nursing database
•Provide client with educational guidance in health promotion and maintenance
•Provide follow-up care for clients

Required Qualifications

Possession of a current license to practice as a registered nurse issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a minimum of one year professional experience are required.

Applicants must complete a successful interview as part of the requirements for the position and must be able to demonstrate through the interview an ability to work in the college health environment.
