Position Summary
The major responsibilities for this position are to teach and provide service in orthopedics in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, to teach didactic and laboratory courses in orthopedics to veterinary students, to actively participate in training of surgical residents, and to develop a research program, which can be independent and/or collaborative with other faculty members. Proportionate assignments for each area will be based on the interests of the candidate in conjunction with the missions of the Surgery program and the Department.

Candidates must have a DVM or equivalent degree and have board certification OR have completed an approved residency of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons or the European College of Veterinary Surgeons. Appointment at the associate professor rank requires a minimum of five years of experience in a similar position; appointment at the rank of full professor requires attainment of professor with tenure at an academic institution.
