Assistant Professor, Department of Marketing

The Department of Marketing in the Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech, invites applications for an Assistant Professor position for our Blacksburg, VA campus. The position requires a Ph.D. in Marketing, Management Science, or related field, completed by appointment start date. The position also requires: demonstrated academic accomplishment in marketing; potential for excellence in scholarship in marketing or related area; expertise in empirical modeling and data analytics; instructional capabilities at the undergraduate and graduate levels; occasional travel to attend professional conferences and meetings; and must have a criminal background check. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses offered by the Department of Marketing; advise undergraduate and graduate students in marketing research, advanced research methods and econometrics; and pursue a program of research that leads to the publication of empirical modeling in major academic journals in quantitative marketing.
