Assistant Professor of History

The Department of History and Political Science invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of History with expertise in Modern Europe Since 1815. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in History from an accredited university by August 7, 2018.  University teaching experience is preferred. Applicant responsibilities will include teaching American, Western Civilization, and/or World History surveys, both upper-level classes and a graduate seminar on European History since 1815, and other courses as assigned; academic advising and departmental duties as assigned; scholarly research and publication.  Applicants must be committed to working with diversity.
