The Princeton Writing Program invites applications for Lecturers to teach topic-based, multidisciplinary Writing Seminars to first-year students. We seek applications from candidates in all fields of study in the social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, and humanities. College-level teaching experience and the Ph.D. are expected. The teaching load is typically two Writing Seminars per term. As part of this teaching-intensive postdoctoral program, faculty benefit from regular pedagogy workshops and professional development opportunities throughout the academic year. The appointment period is one year, renewable for a total of up to five years. The salary for full-time Lecturers is a minimum of $66,000 (paid over the 10-month academic year) plus benefits and eligibility for research and conference travel grants.
