West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute seek a cardiologist specializing in Congestive Heart Failure at our main academic medical campus in Morgantown, WV. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will be actively involved in the teaching of medical students, internal medicine residents and cardiology fellows. Opportunities also exist in clinical research.

We have a dynamic group of nurses who are CHF certified and a Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Clinicians who also assist in managing and monitoring the CHF population.

Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with credentials.
