Position Summary:

This Rheumatologist will be expected to engage in active collaborative research. Will provide clinical patient care at UW Health approved locations including clinical teaching of medical students, residents and fellows.

Principal Duties:

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide clinical care for patients with rheumatic diseases at UW Health approved locations. Academic duties will include clinical research and clinical teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO); certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Rheumatology

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Completed accredited Rheumatology fellowship training.

Formal experience in teaching, both didactic and in the clinical setting, of Rheumatology to learners enrolled in a Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) or American Osteopathic Association Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (AOACOCA) accredited medical school and/or Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited program.

Candidates for Associate/Full Professor (CHS) must meet criteria for rank per UW-Madison guidelines.

License or Certificate:

Eligible for Wisconsin medical license.
