Starting Pay Rate: Per Adjunct Faculty Pay Scale
Schedule Information: Days/evenings/weekends depending upon course schedule

The number of adjunct instructors hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department. Your application can remain "Under Review by Committee" for 18 months. You may check your status at any time by logging into jobs.harpercollege.edu with your username and password.
Job Description: Adjunct instructor to teach Interior Design courses. Ad junct faculty have a workload of fewer than 24 contact hours or equivalent work load per academic year, i.e. fall and spring semesters.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with a major in Interior Design, Architecture, or Fine Arts.
Experience Requirements: At least two years teaching experience in the Interior Design or Architecture at college level. Must be an effective, enthusiastic teacher committed to teaching Interior Design skills at the community college level. National Kitchen and Bath Association Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer (CMKBD) a strong plus.
