Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Associate Director of Student Engagement for Fraternity and Sorority Life in the Division of Student Life.

As a staff member within the Office of Student Engagement, the candidate would be expected to: be responsible for the day to day oversight and management of a comprehensive fraternity and sorority life program; provide direct advisement and support to the Inter Fraternity Council, Panhellenic Association, Multi-Cultural Greek Council, Greek Senate and individual chapter leadership; collaborate with all councils to ensure the sustainability of fraternities and sororities through positive, intentional recruitment activities and practices; academic success and individual and chapter accountability; initiate, develop and coordinate educational and leadership development within the fraternity and sorority community for current and emerging leaders; monitor fraternity and sorority chapter academic performance, prepares related academic reports and works with chapters that need additional attention regarding scholarship programming efforts.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree

Required Skills or Software:
Basic Knowledge of MS Word 2016, Basic Knowledge of MS Excel 2016, Must be able to utilize a variety of computer software programs in order to successfully complete assigned tasks, Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately, Must be able to operate a variety of office equipment

Required Years of Experience: 1

Other Requirements:
One year of professional experience in a college or university setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in higher education, student personnel administration, counseling or a related field. Experience in programs that serve first year students. Three years of professional experience in a college or university setting. Membership in national fraternity or sorority.
