Job Description:

Title: WSU Faculty
Department: Latino Education Institute
Supervisor: Mary Jo Marion

General Statement of Duties:

Under the leadership of the Assistant Vice President, the LEI Faculty will provide training and support and assessment tools to the LEI's REACH initiative to connect local programs and resources focused on health issues.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the assessment of community need and evaluation of the LEI campaign.
2 . Develop, conduct and analyze qualitative data on vaccination campaign messages with Latino community members.
3. Communicate findings to inform the project and the CDC.
4. Facilitate small groups and assist with group activities.
5. Connect local programs and resources REACH focused during training.


Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

1. Good communication, organizational and time management skills necessary.
2. Must be able to work with a variety of people and meet deadlines.
3. Maintain a reliable and dependable attendance record.
4. Must be dependable, flexible and adaptable
5. Able to work independently and in a team setting

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree and/or 5 year of experience working with persons from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.
2. Valid driver's license/state ID and transportation necessary to conducted outreach activities.
3. Bilingual preferred
