The College of Computing & Informatics' (CCI) Corporate Partners program is built on a core of innovation and collaboration. In partnership with industry leaders, CCI is creating a large-scale, sustainable ecosystem for the development, recruitment, and retention of top tech talent.

Job Summary

The Program Coordinator position is mission critical and supports various stakeholders, including, but not limited to, students, external (corporate) partners, alumni, faculty, and professional staff at CCI. A costumer-centered role, this position will coordinate daily operations that impact relationship management, elevating awareness and increasing participation in various student, corporate, and DEI initiatives.

The College of Computing & Informatics (CCI) has a variety of strategic initiatives under the coordination of the Assistant Dean for Operations and Strategic Initiatives, including CCI’s Corporate Partners program (CPP) and college-wide DEI initiatives. The mission of these initiatives is to build collaborative, purposeful, and inclusive relationships and networks while educating, training, and developing CCI community members to be effective, ethical, and engaged leaders in a global community.

Daily, staff will operationalize data-driven, outcomes-focused, engagement and leadership initiatives supported by assessment and informed by current leadership and industry standards and related leadership theories and models.

Essential Functions

Plan and schedule a wide range of events and special programming for students, external customers/partners, faculty, and professional staff.

Provide exceptional customer service to external customers/partners, including communicating with other various stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve programming, resources, communications, and documentation.
  • Assist in the management of various projects (Co-Lab) and related research for project success.
  • Track information and provide regular reports on related activities.
Coordinate event logistics with the Program Manager, Events and Logistics. Events include Partner talks and information sessions, along with annual events such as the Career Networking Event, Senior Design and Philly Codefest.

Create social media content, collateral, and newsletters, in coordination with the Communications team.

Serve as coordinator for DEI initiatives and other CCI-specific programming.
  • Schedule and attend various meetings, prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, along with other administrative functions.
  • Assist with coordinating training sessions for the CCI community.
  • Assist with reports and presentations.
  • Work on/assist on special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of programmatic experience

Ability to build relationships with Partners, and interact via telephone, online, and in person with stakeholders of all levels and backgrounds.

Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaborate with members across a large University community (faculty, professional staff, and administrators) to achieve results.

Exceptional professionalism and customer service acumen. ­­

Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for diverse number of tasks and projects, and to complete them in a timely manner with limited supervision.

Ability to handle confidential matters. Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing.

Experience with Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualification

DEI and higher education experience.
