Posted Salary: $38,100.00 - $47,667.00

Job Description:

This position is responsible for monitoring the budget of clinical research program accounts.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or ten years of specifically related experience
Familiarity with government and private industry fiscal requirements, including allowable costs.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
A minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical trial account management required
Experience preparing formal financial reports and budgets required
Able to communicate professionally, both written and verbally
Able to work well on a multi-disciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working efficiently with complex budgets.
Experience with hospital billing practices
Experience monitoring staff time and effort reporting
Experience with Banner, Argos, MySP, and/or other hospital billing and accounting software
Experience managing industry and NIH clinical research budgets
Knowledge of University of Toledo policies and procedures
Knowledge of University of Toledo Medical Center policies and procedures
