The Opportunity
The Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Rowing program is searching for a full-time Assistant Coach to help lead the varsity men’s and women’s programs competing at the NCAA Division II level in the Sunshine State Conference. Both programs began competing at the varsity level in 2017 when the university transitioned to Division II after decades of success at the NAIA level across all sports.
This year, the program had its most successful year in its history with multiple notable wins for both the men’s and women’s teams, including the Sunshine State Conference championship for the women and the Varsity 4+ championship at SIRA for the men.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- (1-3) years of coaching experience at the junior and/or
collegiate level
- USRowing Coaching Certification (Level I or II)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Requires the ability to establish and maintain cooperative
working relationships with a diverse group of constituencies
- Knowledge of rules and regulations established by the various
governing bodies related to intercollegiate athletics
- Trailer driving experience
- Experience recruiting student-athletes to participate in
athletics
- Experience with fundraising
- Experience with social media marketing and promotion
