Job Description
Unique opportunity for a Physician Assistant -or- Nurse Practitioner with Mizzou Quick Care Clinics located in Columbia MO area Hy-Vee Grocery Stores.
Working independently but supported by the UMHC Department of Family & Community Medicine, you will staff a busy acute care clinic in a retail grocery store. You will conduct physical assessments, perform and interpret diagnostic tests, treat common conditions, and prescribe medications as needed. We accept all patients 24 months and older. Our medical records are fully integrated with University of Missouri Health Care and offer paperless e-prescribing.
Our clinics are open 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM weekends and most holidays. You will typically work a blend of 12 and 8 hour days and can staff any of the three clinics.
Unlike many other retail clinics, you are supported by clerical staff who will handle patient registration, patient financial responsibilities, and help with patient intake and POC testing.
Salary
Salary Range: $87,630 - $142,986 Annually
Grade: PAT - 012
University Title: Physician Assistant-Quick Care -or- Nurse Practitioner-Quick Care

Monday - Friday 7am-7pm, Saturday-Sunday 8am-4pm.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Physician Assistant:
- Master’s degree from an AMA accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Possession of a current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Missouri and certification from NCCPA is required.
- Must be licensed to treat infant to geriatric populations.
- Minimum of two years of experience desired.
- Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
- Certified Nurse Practitioner with current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of Missouri. Missouri RN license is also required.
- Must be licensed to treat infant to geriatric populations.
- Minimum of two years of experience desired.
Experience in a primary care clinic setting preferred.
