Under the general supervision of Human Resources, this position will focus primarily on processing transactions in the State Universities Retirement System ( SURS ) for all SURS eligible college employees. Experience with pension systems and/or state retirement systems is preferred, but not required. An ideal candidate will have a background in office administration, human resources or finance and will be able to work a flexible schedule on campus, during regular business hours . Required Qualification
- Associates degree & minimum of two (2) years OR high school diploma & minimum of four (4) years of experience, working in office administration, human resources or finance
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks and deadlines
- Meticulous attention to detail, commitment to providing accurate and thorough information
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Ability to maintain discretion in sharing sensitive or confidential information
- Ability to interact and work effectively with college community, faculty, executive, leadership and support staff while maintaining strong working relationships.
*General Knowledge of HRIS, Microsoft Teams, document management and/or a willingness to learn new software/computer applications
*General knowledge of pensions and/or state retirement systems (i.e. State University Retirement System ( SURS )
