The Department of Neurosurgery is recruiting for a postdoctoral
associate. This position supported by a joint project between the
departments of Biomedical Engineering and Neurosurgery at the
University at Buffalo. The candidate will be located at Canon
Stroke and Vascular Research Center ( CSVRC ) where (s)he will work
under the supervision of Drs Ciprian Ionita and Jason Davies.
The candidate will:
- Lead the research to develop new machine learning methods to
predict delayed cerebral ischemia in patient with subarachnoid
- Mentor and collaborate with undergraduate/MS students and PhD
candidates on research.
- Write quarterly scientific reports and manuscripts to be
published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
- Give annual scientific presentations to nationwide catalysis
and emission control conferences.
