Full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position with a

Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching undergraduate core classes and content specific courses in elementary education. Collaboration with professional colleagues, supervising clinical experiences, teaching graduate courses when appropriate, conducting research, providing service to the university, and advising undergraduate and graduate students.
Minimum Education Requirements:
Doctorate in Curriculum and Instructor or related field is required. ABDs with a documented plan of completion by appointment date will be considered.
Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements:
Three or more years of experience teaching in the classroom in grades K-12 required.
Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
Experience teaching elementary, middle and/or high school. Elementary education preferred teaching experience. Successful teaching experiences at the university level are preferred. Knowledge of Kentucky standards-aligned instruction, elementary science teaching, and technology in the classroom.
