The Director of Player Personnel / Women's Basketball will coordinate the daily recruiting operational and logistical processes for the Women’s Basketball program. Will plan and execute the Recruiting Calendar (mail, video, graphics, social media – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.). Identify, evaluate, collect data, manage video library, etc. on prospective student athletes to provide direction to the coaching staff through available and permissible sources (recruiting services, internet, event websites, etc.). Monitor permissible recruiting websites at the direction of the coaching staff to provide them updates on committed prospects and available prospects coaches identify. Create and update recruiting lists at the direction of the coaching staff. Coordinate updates to ARMS or similar recruiting software. Monitor the number of contacts and evaluations conducted by the coaching staff and work with Athletics Compliance to ensure records are consistent. Coordinate securing, evaluating and filing of transcripts for selected prospects in collaboration with Compliance and Sport Oversight. Supervise planning and coordinating of official and unofficial visits to campus (itineraries, travel, hotel, hosts, meals, name tags, seating charts, compliance paperwork, complimentary tickets, etc.). Coordinate completion and submission of required paperwork and expense reports. Monitors and manages recruiting budget. Supervise coordination of travel (commercial, charter, and fleet services) for coaches recruiting. Monitor and work collaboratively with the staff to keep them updated on changes in the rules (University, conference, and NCAA). Serve as liaison on recruiting matters with compliance, student athlete development, strength and conditioning, sports medicine, travel, business office, facilities, housing, parking, game operations, etc. This position will report to the Head Coach / Women's Basketball.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree and/or bachelor’s degree with experience in collegiate athletics.
Knowledge of recruiting practices within a collegiate women's basketball program.
Experience using social media.
Knowledge of NCAA compliance as it relates to basketball recruiting and travel, including websites and social media.
Knowledge of HUDL, ARMS, Synergy, FastModel Sports or similar recruiting software.
Commitment to diversity.
Ability to travel with the Women's Basketball team to away game locations.
Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working for a Division I institution in a collegiate athletics environment.
Previous experience working with Division I recruiting, NCAA compliance rules and regulations.
Previous experience with a Division I collegiate women’s basketball team.
