The Transplant Oncology and Infectious Diseases Clinical Research Center is looking for a bright, hardworking professional to join our group as an integral part of our clinical research team with strong written and communication skills. Our research focuses on solid organ transplantation and in particular novel transplantation practices such as organ donation from donors with HIV and hepatitis C. We are also studying COVID -19 in the transplant recipient population. The responsibilities of the position focus on coordination of administrative, regulatory, and operations support for the Program.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Under the direction of the Sr. Research Coordinator, coordinate support for daily research operations, including but not limited to paper and e-filing of administrative and regulatory documents, insuring that all internal organizational systems are maintained.
  2. Draft memos and communications to all internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Under the supervision of the Sr. Research Coordinator, coordinate preparation and tracking of subsite contracts, invoices, and payments.
  4. Prepare and distribute accurate and timely communications with internal and external stakeholders. Strong verbal and written customer service skills a must.
  5. Responsible for maintaining multiple study inboxes and communicating and contacting study subsite.
  6. Work closely with the Sr. Research Coordinator, the entire Data Coordinating Center, as well as study Principal Investigators to achieve program goals.
  7. Responsible for supply procurement, which includes ordering, tracking, receiving, organizing and maintaining supplies.
  8. Responsible for coordination of the editing, formatting, printing, and shipment of all study related materials and correspondence. Must be detail oriented to assure the editing and formatting of study documents are accurate.
  9. Responsible for maintaining up-to-date and accurate Master Communication list-servs.
  10. Responsible for the coordination of all internal meetings, preparing agendas, and taking and distributing meeting minutes in a timely manner.
  11. Maintain regulatory documents according to internal SOPs
  12. Provide miscellaneous administrative support as required.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline
  • Some related experience
  • Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent record keeping skills.
