Position Summary:
Expanding on its successful MBA programs with the addition of a new Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program, the Atkinson Graduate School of Management at Willamette University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Operations & Supply Chain Management at the rank of Assistant Professor with appointment to begin August 2023. We welcome applications from both entry-level candidates and Assistant Professors with full-time teaching and research experience. Persons with project management experience are highly encouraged to apply.

Assistant Professor. Salary is competitive with similar AACSB accredited institutions and commensurate with experience, teaching, and research record.

Minimum Qualifications

Successful candidates will have an earned doctorate in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field before appointment preferably from an AACSB accredited institution. Applications from ABDs are welcomed provided that all degree requirements are completed by the first day of the appointment, August 14th, 2023. Successful candidates will show the ability to develop and teach both MBA and undergraduate coursework, as well as the motivation to pursue scholarly work, independently and collaboratively. Industry experience is an added plus.

Applications will be considered beginning immediately and until the position is filled. Search committee members will attend the Academy of Management conference in Seattle, Washington August 5-9th and are available to talk with individuals interested in the position.
