Job Description

Research, develop, implement, and evaluate a statewide traffic safety program for parents of teen drivers.

This person will be responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of a high-quality, evidence based health education/traffic safety program with accompanying health education messaging for this target population.

Travel is required.

Salary

Salary Range: $47476 - $56,936 hourly

Grade: GGS - 9E

Shift

Usually Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility required at times.

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in public health, health education, adult education, nursing or a related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary.

Two to three years experience in nursing, health education, adult education, marketing or public health is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) certificate desired, but not required. A degree in nursing is preferred.
