Description
Ball State University is seeking a full-time, non-tenure-track position for an Assistant Teaching Professor of English to teach undergraduate courses in Multi-Ethnic U.S. and African American literatures, and courses in our Writing Program as appropriate to candidate’s expertise.
Minimum Qualifications
Earned doctorate in English or related discipline with specialization in Multi-Ethnic U.S. literatures from an accredited institution by date of appointment. Must have demonstrated expertise in African American literatures and cultures.
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following; American Indian literatures, transnational or hemispheric studies, and/or digital humanities.
