Xavier University, a Jesuit Catholic Institution, invites applications for the position of Graduate Admissions Recruiter in the Office of the Graduate School.

The Graduate Admissions Recruiter carries out and assists with the primary elements of the marketing, recruiting, communication, and the admission process for graduate programs to which the position is assigned primary responsibility. The Graduate Admissions Recruiter works with prospective students throughout the admission process to ensure prospects move through the admissions funnel.

The Graduate Admissions Recruiter uses a consultative advising approach to build friendly, professional relationships with prospective students from inquiry through the application and registration process for the desired graduate program or certificate. The Graduate Admissions Recruiter conducts in-person, telephone, and virtual appointments to provide information on the institution, college, and program admissions processes and requirements.

The Graduate Admissions Recruiter will represent graduate programs at career fairs, information sessions, and other types of recruiting events. This position reports to the Assistant Dean of the Graduate School and works in concert with the deans and associate deans of the colleges to achieve the colleges’ graduate enrollment goals.

The ideal applicant will have:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • A bachelor’s degree is required, with a master’s being preferred.
