Position Summary

Student Health Services at the University at Buffalo is actively recruiting for a Student Immunization Compliance Specialist to join our diverse and friendly team.

The duties of the Student Immunization Compliance Specialist include:
  • Ensuring compliance with New York State Public Health Laws, university policy and department requirements for attendance.
  • Monitoring compliance for health-related students who have additional requirements.
  • Serving as a contact for student immunization records and compliance inquiries.
  • Performing data entry and health record review.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree
  • Experience in a medical office, college health, or K-12 school setting
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to vaccination and laboratory testing for immunity
  • Familiarity with NYSDOH Public Health Law 2165 and 2167
