Job Summary
Manage proposal submission processes for contracts, sub-contracts, and grants including ensuring successful contract and/or grant completion.

Due to the Governor's approval for the Cost of Living Adjustment to Fiscal Years 2022 and 2023, final salaries at the time of hire may be impacted, but will not be lower than what is advertised.

Responsibilities
  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Negotiate, administer, extend, terminate and renegotiate with third parties
  • Conduct performance assessments
  • Evaluate budgets on bids and sponsored funds
  • Oversee significant amounts of academic and sponsored research funds annually
  • Assist faculty in development
  • Submit and manage funded projects, including budget development, routing and approval of submissions, award negotiation, project monitoring and management and project close-out
  • Provide administrative and technical guidance and support to faculty, staff, and administrators from all disciplines seeking outside funding for research, public service, and special sponsored Institutional projects
  • Maintain records of contract/grant deadlines, estimates and any extensions or changes made to contract and/or grant terms

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Required Experience
  • Three (3) or more years of related work experience

Proposed Salary
$21.73 - $25.00 per hour
