Job Description:

Title: Program Liaison
Department: Latino Education Institute
Supervisor: Mary Jo Marion

General Statement of Duties:

Under the leadership of the Assistant Vice President, LEI Director supervises the personnel of various projects, assists with program development, and ensures the evaluation of program outcomes and the reporting to funders. Candidate must be a supportive, willing, positive, and energetic participant in the implementation of the outcome measurement system.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for developing data gathering and information management systems for data points
2. Supervise the personnel of various programs to ensure the quality of program delivery
3. Train staff on the administration of evaluation tools.
4. Support staff in the evaluation of program data to accurately report outcomes.
5. Collaborate with community partners such as public-school districts to acquire relevant data for program evaluation.
6. Conduct institutional research to inform best practice strategies.
7. Support Executive Director on program site visits from Funders.
8. Serve as a positive role model by modeling desirable behaviors- e.g. patience, tolerance, and reflective listening.


Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

1. Experience with Microsoft Office applications and record keeping.
2. Ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences, both in writing and verbally.
3. Strong work ethic and commitment to positive youth development.
4. Success in prioritizing and meeting multiple demands and deadlines.
5. Strong organizational skills, including the ability to work collaboratively, manage own work and time, and be accountable for performance.
6. Alignment and agreement with the vision, mission, and values of the Latino Education Institute.
7. Ability to work some evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree and/or 3 year of experience working with persons from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.
2. Reliable access to transportation.
3. Bilingual in Spanish preferred
