Position Summary

Minimal Qualifications
  • Possess an academic degree equivalent to the degree that is offered in the concentration (Associate’s degree)
  • Must be a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Obstetrics and Gynecology ( RDMS ( OBGYN )) with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography ( ARDMS )
  • Minimum of two years full time experience as a registered sonographer in the field of obstetrics and gynecology (OB/ GYN ) (full time defined as 35 hours per week).
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Graduate from sonography instruction at an institution
  • Available to teach the OB/ GYN sonography course in the fall and spring semester
Preferences
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
