NOTICE OF FILING OF APPLICATION UNDER THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR'S PERMANENT LABOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

An application concerning the employment of one or more alien workers for the following permanent position will be filed with the Department of Labor (for non-schedule A positions) or with the Department of Homeland Security (for Schedule A positions).

Position Title:  Applications Engineer

Position Duties: Technical design, modification, development, testing and documentation of complex software solutions that execute independently or as part of a larger information system; Perform innovative, complex SAP Enterprise Portal, JavaScript, WebDynpro for ABAP and Fiori programming, design, testing, and debugging work related to the implementation, enhancement and support of SAP ERP modules (e.g. HR, Payroll, Financial, Materials Management, Real Estate, Business Warehouse, Workflow, SAP Enterprise Portal and the Fiori mobile platform).

Position Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree with emphasis in computer science + two (2) years of full time, post degree, applicable ERP programming experience (SAP Enterprise Portal, JavaScript, ABAP, WebDynpro for ABAP and Fiori), including development of custom software applications for large user groups using ABAP and programming in a SAP Employee Self Service (ESS) environment. Also requires Knowledge of: Basic ABAP Workbench development objects; Programming with SAP Enterprise Portal, JavaScript, WebDynpro for ABAP, Fiori, OData services and web services; interface techniques such as file transfer and BAPI; Workflow and authorization concepts in custom applications; and print and spool functionalities, background processing and converting list output to PDF; Demonstrated ability to: work through upgrades and support packs; recommend and use OSS Notes; and use dump and trace analysis to troubleshoot; Excellent analytical skills; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with multiple user groups; and customer-service oriented; and an ability to translate user-requirements into a deliverable product independently with minimal technical supervision. 

Rate of Pay: $72,900 per year

Employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage determined by the U.S. Department of Labor.
