Description
Responsibilities:
  • Administrative support to the Dean of the College of Health Sciences
  • Develop and maintain the College of Health Sciences calendar of events and initiatives
  • Support College of Health Sciences portal and website
  • Support the College of Health Sciences in assembling annual accomplishment database and online resource
  • Support College of Health Sciences in planning and scheduling of events
  • Support College of Health Sciences with special projects
  • Support faculty, students and external constituencies who have questions and/or concerns
  • Maintain and update an electronic site of common and discipline specific materials for the accredited health and medical sciences academic programs
  • Support the College of Health Sciences with the preparation of accreditation self-study materials, planning of site visits and preparation of annual reports
  • Support to College of Health Sciences Planning and Budget Coordinator related to general College function (listservs, student workers, etc.)
  • Other Duties as assigned.



Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree desirable
  • Prior experience in an academic setting preferred

Technology Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications
  • Proven computer and keyboard skills

Human Relations Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively and positively with members of the College and University's constituencies.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Professional and business-like demeanor
  • Attention to detail
  • Candidates must be willing and able to support and advance the University mission.
