Description
Responsibilities:
- Administrative support to the Dean of the College of Health Sciences
- Develop and maintain the College of Health Sciences calendar of events and initiatives
- Support College of Health Sciences portal and website
- Support the College of Health Sciences in assembling annual accomplishment database and online resource
- Support College of Health Sciences in planning and scheduling of events
- Support College of Health Sciences with special projects
- Support faculty, students and external constituencies who have questions and/or concerns
- Maintain and update an electronic site of common and discipline specific materials for the accredited health and medical sciences academic programs
- Support the College of Health Sciences with the preparation of accreditation self-study materials, planning of site visits and preparation of annual reports
- Support to College of Health Sciences Planning and Budget Coordinator related to general College function (listservs, student workers, etc.)
- Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree desirable
- Prior experience in an academic setting preferred
Technology Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications
- Proven computer and keyboard skills
Human Relations Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively and positively with members of the College and University's constituencies.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Professional and business-like demeanor
- Attention to detail
- Candidates must be willing and able to support and advance the University mission.
