Job Summary
The Department of History, Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Purdue University Northwest (Hammond and Westville, Indiana) anticipates hiring multiple full-time, non-tenure-track Lecturers to teach introductory history courses in United States, European, and World History, and other undergraduate history or liberal studies courses, for the Fall 2022-Spring 2023 school year.
Candidates must have completed an MA in History (or other relevant field) plus a minimum of two years’ experience teaching history at the college level.
Start date is August 15, 2022. Responsibilities include teaching five classes per semester. Salary is competitive with similar positions at other regional institutions and includes benefits. Semester and year-long positions available. Renewal of the position is possible and contingent on enrollment and successful performance reviews.
