Assistant Scientist/ Assistant Professor in Healthcare Delivery Sciences and/or Population Health

Sanford Research invites applications for full time faculty at the rank of Assistant Scientist within Sanford Research in Sioux Falls, SD, with commensurate rank of Assistant Professor in the Sanford School of Medicine at The University of South Dakota. Sanford Research is the non-profit research branch under Sanford Health.

We seek outstanding scientists with research programs that focus on healthcare delivery and/or population health research in areas including areas such as healthcare IT, healthcare economics, and evidence-based practices an intervention. Successful candidates will build upon, enhance, and complement our existing infrastructure in accessing and utilizing healthcare data https://research.sanfordhealth.org/services/core-facilities/data-exchange-core, a common data model, and behavioral economics https://research.sanfordhealth.org/services/core-facilities/behavioral-economics-core.

Qualifications

Faculty applicants should hold a terminal degree in their field (such as MPH, MD, PhD), have a strong research track, and complement the existing strengths and the interdisciplinary and collaborative nature of Sanford Research. Physician Scientists are encouraged to apply. Candidates will be expected to develop independent research programs and secure extramural funding.
