Qualifications:
Theories of Counseling is a critical review of traditional and modern theories of counseling and psychotherapy. Prerequisites: Psychology 1.

This course is taught on the Moraga campus and meets in person on Monday & Friday from 1:00 - 2:40 pm during the 2022 Fall term.

In addition to teaching, the instructor is expected to hold regular virtual office hours (a minimum of one hour per week) in order to provide students with support outside of the classroom.

Candidates must be a resident of California and have an M.S., M.A. or Ph.D. in the relevant area of Psychology. A Ph.D. in Psychology is highly desirable. Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California.
