The Catholic University of America is the national university of the Catholic Church in the United States. The University’s mission states that it is “dedicated to advancing the dialogue between faith and reason” as it seeks “to discover and impart the truth through excellence in teaching and research, all in service to the Church, the nation and the world.” Catholic University’s motto — God Is My Light — is a constant reminder of its origin and mission. The Catholic University was founded in 1887 as a graduate research institution charged with creating an academic program that would serve the nation and transform the world.

Building on years of robust efforts to solidify Catholic identity, hire the best faculty and staff, expand research capacities, transform the campus and the student experience, and set records in philanthropic giving, Catholic University is ready to achieve new heights of excellence as a faithfully Catholic global research university in Washington, D.C.

Catholic University enrolls 2,900 undergraduate and 2,130 graduate students from across the US and the world. The Enrollment Management Division of Catholic University is at an exciting point as it is poised to grow and develop. It currently includes several key strategic university departments, including Undergraduate Admission, Student Financial Assistance, and Enrollment Services.

The Vice President of Enrollment Management (“VPEM”) reports to the President and serves on the President’s Cabinet. The VPEM would be expected to hold an advanced degree and to have a track record of accomplishments in enrollment and an understanding of Catholic higher education.
